Here are some information about the diet and treatment for patients with high
creatinine, we hope they are helpful for you.
Most people with kidney disease need to limit salt (sodium), fluids and
protein. Some also have to limit potassium, phosphorus and other minerals. To be
successful with your diet, you will need to:
1. Know which foods contain minerals you need to limit. For example, potatoes
and bananas have a lot of potassium, but it is also found in other fruits and
vegetables as well as many meats, and nuts, seeds, beans and dairy products are
sources of phosphorus.
2. Learn about sources of protein. Not only fish, meats and dairy products
also breads, cereals and even vegetables contain protein.
3. Read food labels and look for hidden sodium. For example, sodium may be
listed as disodium phosphate and monosodium glutamate (MSG).
4. Your diet may change over time as your disease changes. See your doctor
for regular testing, and work with a dietitian to adjust your diet as
needed.
These diet tips are not for you if you are on dialysis or have had a kidney
transplant. About the treatment of high creatinine, we will use Immunotherapy to
