High Creatinine in PKD

If the kidneys start to become diseased for whatever reason, the level of creatinine rises in the blood stream. What are the reasons of high creatinine for Polycystic Kidney Disease? They are as follows:

●Because the cysts in the kidney extends continuously, and then oppresses the ambient kidney tissues, which leads to the damage of kidney unit, the kidney volume outdistances the normal range in the late stage for PKD patients and no normal kidney unit can be seen in the microscope checking.

●After Polycystic Kidney Disease patients get sick for a long time, the fluctuation and increasing of creatinine will arise in the clinical checking, even the blood creatinine level exceeds the normal range, from this we know PKD develops to renal insufficiency or uremia. That blood creatinine level exceeds normal range and urine creatinine level is subnormal are the main symptoms.

●After the kidney is violated by cysts in the kidney, firstly the damaged kidney inherent cells can come up the phenotype transformation, form the pathology change, stimulate the fibroblasts in kidney to transform into myofibroblast, and at the same time violate and arouse the inherent normal kidney tissues to occur the same lesion, which leads to the kidney's spreading process of extending and excitation type from the part to the whole. Because kidney is damaged continuously, the function of excreting rubbish will lower, which leads to the gather of cretinine and other toxins in the body , the rising of blood cretinine and urea nitrogen, and the declining of urine cretinine and filterability. Meanwhile the patients can also have hypertension and severe edema .

From the above reasons, we can get that if we want to control and cure polycystic kidney, shrinking the cysts and repairing the damaged inherent cells is no time to delay.

A Healthy Diet for Patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease

At present, no specific diet is known to prevent the progression from developing Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) into renal failure. Low protein diets have not proved helpful to PKD patients with advanced kidney disease. Nevertheless, it is not wise to eat excessive amounts of protein. Reducing salt in the diet helps control blood pressure in PKD patients who have high blood pressure. A diet low in fat and moderate in calories is recommended to maintain a healthy weight. According to dietitian, patients with PKD should abide by the following tips:
Limit the intake of protein

A lot of protein can increase the load on the kidneys, so it is essential to limit or control protein intake. Protein is found in two kinds of food. Food products in which they are found in large quantities (from animal sources) include eggs, milk, cheese, meat, seafood and other dairy products. The second type comprises food products that contain protein in smaller amounts (from plant sources) such as cereals, bread, vegetables, fruits and other starches and grains. Eating the right amount of protein is essential for a healthy body; too much or too little can cause problems, therefore it is best to pay heed to the dietitian's advice.

Lower sodium intake
High blood pressure, kidney disease, and salt are related, therefore, reducing the sodium intake is essential for people with a kidney disease including Polycystic Kidney Disease.
Reduce the intake of potassium and phosphorus
Patients with PKD usually have high-potassium and high-phosphorus symptoms. If you have these symptoms, you must choose the healthier food. Low-potassium food include mushrooms, onions and green peppers, while high-potassium foods include acorn squash, potatoes, tomatoes, broccoli, orange juice, lentils and other legumes. High-phosphorus foods such as milk, organ meats, beer, chocolate and cola drinks should also be avoided if your phosphorus level is high.
Are you a patient with PKD? Are you eager to have a healthier diet? If you are, you should follow the dietitian’s suggestion.

PKD patients feel sleepy and tried after the operation

PKD is featured with the numerous cysts growing on the kidneys. With time going, the cysts will become bigger and bigger, which can oppress the surrounding kidney tissues and make the kidneys to be damaged and the kidney function declines. However, there are no efficient treatments for PKD patients except for operation in their local places.

Many factors can influence the growth speed of these cysts, such as the lifestyle and working environment, infections and so on. When the cysts enlarge to a certain degree, many symptoms will appear. Some PKD patients will choose the operation to eliminate the cysts. Is that can deal with the problem?

When the bigger cysts are removed through the operations, the smaller ones will grow with a faster speed for the surrounding pressure decreases. Also the operation have its own disadvantages, one is that operation is easy to cause the infections and make the further damage to kidneys, the other one is that the cysts growing inside can not be removed by operations. The infections and the further damage to kidneys can make the kidney function worse. In that case, that high creatinine, weakness, fatigue and sleepy appear is not that strange.
Operation is not the treatment PKD patients want, what they need is the one which is safe and efficient. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy to help PKD patients shrink the cysts and prevent the illness condition worsening.

Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is not taken orally, also it is not an operation. It is applied externally on the acupoint of the kidneys. PKD patients just need to lie on the bed, with the help of osmosis device, the active materials of Chinese herbal medicine can efficiently arrive in the kidneys and begin to come into play. It can change the permeability of cysts wall and change the inner and outer pressure difference, then the cyst fluids can come out from the cysts and come into the blood and finally it can be discharged out of body with urine. Chinese herbal medicine is great and different kinds have different functions. Also it can provide the nutrient for the kidneys, so the kidney function can be recovered gradually.

What is the process of Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy contains six steps, and every step has its clear purpose, here we would like to introduce the general idea about Immunotherapy. If you want to know more details, just leaving us a message, we will send you the information as soon as possible.

Immune diagnosis, the first step of Immunotherapy, helps kidney diseases patients have a comprehensive check. Many special checks like kidney damage series, hematuria positioning, complement series, lymphocyte and so on will be used to detect the damage degree, kidney injury part, the type of immune complexes, which is helpful for the following steps.

Immune clearance helps kidneys diseases create a clean internal environment. Unlike dialysis treatment can only eliminate the creatinine, BUN, UA and other small molecules, we will also use hemofiltration, plasma exchange and other blood purification techniques to eliminate other toxins.

At stage of immune blocking and immune tolerance, the immunosuppressive drugs like Tc-MDP, matrine and McAb will be used to restrain the immune inflammation reaction and stop the further damage to kidneys. And the use of immunosuppressive drugs is also commonly used in other hospitals, then what is the difference? We will choose the proper immunosuppressive drugs according to the immune diagnosis and the reason why the use of immunosuppressive drugs in other hospitals can not stop the worsening of the illness condition is that they have not done the next steps, in other words, only the immunosuppressive drugs is not enough.

At stage of immune adjustment which is a very important step in Immunotherapy, the Chinese herbal medicine is mainly used. It can help kidney diseases patients eliminate the immune complexes depositing in kidneys through promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, which can efficiently avoid immune inflammation. In order not to stimulate the gastrointestinal tract and in order to increase the efficiency of medicine, Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy has been created. It is used in external method, and kidney diseases patients just need to lie on the bed.

The last step of Immunotherapy-immune protection. The different kinds of Chinese herbal medicine will be used to increase kidney diseases patients’ immunity and rebuild the immune system of human body.

Can dialysis be reduced

Dialysis is such a treatment that replaces the kidneys to help patients remove these toxins out of body to maintain their lives. However, dialysis treatment can not do anything to repair the damaged kidneys.

Dialysis patients have to spend lots of time visiting the hospital or clinic a week, some of them will go and do dialysis treatment three times a week and about three hours each time, which is very terrible. Dialysis treatment influences patients’ life badly. Actually, no one wants to take the dialysis treatment, but they regard dialysis as the only way that can maintain their lives, so they have no other choice but do it, even though some dialysis patients need to bear some side effects or complications like blood pressure changes, visual disturbances, migraines, nausea, vomiting and so on. But in recent years, more and more dialysis patients decide to stop the dialysis patients. However, can dialysis be reduced and even stopped?

If patients stop dialysis treatment and there are no other efficient treatments, then patients will be very dangerous. Some patients may die within a week after stopping dialysis, however, different people have different situations. If they can treated by an efficient and safe treatment, they may live a normal life as others do.

Immunotherapy is such a treatment whose purpose is to repair the damaged kidney inherent cells, recover kidney function and rebuild the innate immune system of human body through Chinese herbal medicine, western medicine and the advanced blood purification techniques. Dialysis patients should believe that they can reduce the dialysis treatment gradually and finally stop it through Immunotherapy.

An Introduction for Interstitial Nephritis Causes

Interstitial nephritis is a condition characterized by the disease of renal interstitial tissue and a kidney disorder in which the spaces between the kidney tubules become swollen. Acute interstitial nephritis is an important cause of acute renal failure resulting from immune-mediated tubulointerstitial injury, initiated by medications, infection, and other causes. Acute interstitial nephritis may be implicated in up to 15 percent of patients hospitalized for acute renal failure. Therefore, knowing the causes of Interstitial Nephritis is not only benefit for treating this disease but also preventing renal failure.
The hallmark of AIN is the infiltration of inflammatory cells within the renal interstitium, with associated edema, sparing the glomeruli and blood vessels. Interstitial fibrosis is initially sparse, but develops later in the course of the illness. Fibrotic lesions may be diffuse or patchy, beginning deep in the renal cortex, most prominently at the medullocortical junction. The inflammatory infiltrate is typically composed of mononuclear cells and T lymphocytes, with a variable number of plasma cells and eosinophils. Eosinophils may be totally absent from the infiltrate or may concentrate in small foci, forming eosinophilic microabscesses. According to its pathology, its causes include:

◆Allergic reaction to a drug (acute interstitial allergic nephritis)
◆Autoimmune disorders such as anti-tubular basement membrane disease, Kawasaki’s disease, Sjogren syndrome, systemic lupus erythematosus, or Wegener’s granulomatosis
◆Infections
◆Long-term use of medications such as acetaminophen (Tylenol), aspirin, and nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS). This is called analgesic nephropathy.
◆Side effect of certain antibiotics (including penicillin, ampicillin, methicillin, sulfonamide medications, and others)
◆Side effect of other medications such as furosemide, thiazide diuretics, omeprazole, triamterene, and allopurinol
◆Too little potassium in your blood
◆Too much calcium or uric acid in your blood

Knowing the causes of Interstitial Nephritis, we must prevent them in our dialy life.

High creatinine level after kidney transplant

Kidney transplant seems to be the last life-saving straw, however, it may let kidney disease patients down. After a kidney transplant, patients have to take the anti-rejection drugs for the rest of their life, and they may not know that long-term use of these medicines can damage the immune system. Moreover, a kidney transplant is such an operation that only puts a new into the body, it doesn’t do anything to improve the abnormal immune system. 95% of the kidney diseases are immune system disorder, now the kidney transplant can make it worse and worse to some extent. At this time, patients are easier to get infected, even a cold, the new immune inflammation reaction will begin, so the kidney will be unavoidable to get damaged.

If patients find high creatinine level again, what should they do? Anyway, they don’t want to see the illness condition worsen and it develops into kidney failure and then receive another kidney transplant or undergo dialysis treatment for the rest of their life. So they should change their previous treatment.
Immunotherapy has been the most efficient treatment for kidney disease patients in 2012. it is a special treatment in our hospital, and many foreign patients say they have never seen it in other hospital. Immunotherapy contains some steps, blood purification techniques, western medicine and Chinese herbal medicine will be used in Immunotherapy. This treatment is a systemic treatment, every step aims to deal with one factor causing the kidney disease or repair the damaged kidneys, which is the reason why Immunotherapy can be efficient. As long as patients still have some certain urine, Immunotherapy may be their best choice. If you have any questions, you can leave us a message, we will give you the reply very soon.
